Is this the only way to structure music?

The processes taught in this module are meant to serve as a reference. Once you get comfortable with this, you will find ways to break away from this structure and make it your own.

Can this structure building process be done in Live’s Arrangement View as well?

Live’s Session view has a massive advantage when it comes to working out new parts for your song. We get into working with the arrangement view in the next module, and you’ll have a clearer picture as to why.

I have a unique idea for one of the sections, do I still need to apply this extrapolation approach?

We recommend you practice this till you’re comfortable, as this is something you should be able to do as a producer. Besides that, feel free to break away from this wherever convenient.

Is it possible to set choose quantization different than global quantization for some clips?

Yes, it is possible to get into clip details properties and manually set different quantization for creative purposes.
